Found this beautiful miniature painting on tumblr…. It is a depiction of Bani Thani, a famous courtesan reknowned for her beauty. The painting is from Kishangarh, a princely state in Rajasthan founded in the 1600s by the prince of Jodhpur. Kishangarh paintings are known for the strikingly elongated and stylized eyes and nose.
